就在蘋果即將於美國公布新款「iPhone 5S」之前，除了疑似實機銷售盒裝外觀曝光外，也似乎透露新款iPhone確實搭載指紋辨識功能的消息。

根據中國網站C科技所取得消息，其中透露新款iPhone實際銷售盒裝外觀，其中顯示新機名稱就是先前有不少傳聞的「iPhone 5S」，同時在實機圖像的Home鍵周圍多了一道銀圈，似乎也暗示新機確實將搭載指紋辨識功能的說法。

先前便有不少說法指出新款iPhone將搭載指紋辨識功能，而不久前美國FOX新聞主播 Clayton Morris也曾在個人Twitter中公開提到新款iPhone確實將搭載指紋辨識器。不過，具體細節還是要等到美國發表活動正式說明為主。
