在東京電玩展前夕，索尼電腦娛樂(Sony Computer Entertainment,SCE)今天(9/9)公布了幾項產品的上市時程，包括 PS 4 將於 2014 年 2 月 22 日上市，PS Vita 將推 6 款新色，預計於 2013 年 10 月 10 日上市，還首度揭開了搭載 PS Vita 系統軟體的家用主機盒「PS Vita TV」，預計在 2013 年 11 月 14 日上市。

除了已經發表過的 PS Vita 跟 PS 4，「PlayStation Vita TV」應該算是這場發表會的重點內容，大致上可以看成是 PS Vita 的家用主機版，接上電視螢幕，就可以操作 PlayStation Vita 的系統內容來玩遊戲，並向下相容 PSP 的遊戲，共可以暢玩超過 1300 款 PSP 跟 PS VITA 遊戲。此外，SCE 還與 NicoNico 動畫網站、TSUTAYA TV、Hulu 合作，讓使用者可以盡情觀看相關動畫內容，這方面有點像是遊戲版本的 Apple TV。

PlayStation Vita TV 預計於 2013 年 11 月 14 日上市，建議售價 9954 日圓，搭配 DUALSHOCK 3 無線控制器以及 8GB 記憶卡的配件包，建議售價 14,994 日圓。不過在 PS 4 還未上市前發表這項產品，產品細節、功能、市場定位與未來發展為何，SCE 並未完整說明，相信接下來登場的東京電玩展(TGS 2013)當中，SCE 將帶來更多更進一步的消息與內容。
