雖然Google Music已經推行許久，但Google始終未針對蘋果iOS平台打造原生App，目前僅能以Web App形式使用此項服務。不過就近期消息透露，Google將有可能針對iOS平台釋出此項原生App內容，並且預計將在10月下旬期間公布。

根據Engadget英文主站透露消息，有不少Google內部員工正著手測試對應iOS平台的Google Music原生App，如同先前包含Gmail、YouTube等均針對iOS平台提供App內容，而無需特別透過Web App才能使用。

另一方面，消息來源透露雖然目前內部正著手測試此項功能，同時也還有諸多bug等待修正，但Google方面似乎準備將在10月下旬左右公布此項功能上線消息。
