根據雀巢 (Nestle)透過「@KitKat」Twitter帳號所發出兩筆內容，似乎暗示著Android 4.4「KitKat」即將在美國10月28日時公布，屆時估計也將一併發表新款Nexus 5或其他Nexus相關產品，以期Google可能推出的智慧型手錶裝置。

根據Pocket-lint網站引述雀巢 (Nestle)於透過「@KitKat」Twitter帳號所發出兩筆內容，其中一筆顯示正在跳舞的Android KitKat，同時加上文字「Everybody dance now!」文字敘述。而第二筆則是顯示以KitKat巧克力餅排列成的「This is it」文字字樣。

就Pocket-lint網站的推論表示，「Everybody dance now!」是成立於1989年的美國團體C+C Music Factory，過去團名分別使用過「Clivillés + Cole」、「The 28th Street Crew」。而其中舊團名所夾帶的「28」，讓Pocket-lint網站認為發表日期可能會在本月28日 (美國紐約當地時間)。

另一方面，Pocket-lint網站認為第二組「This is it」的暗示，可能是指Michael Jackson未來演唱會電影，而其首次播放時間為2009年10月28日。因此，新版Android 4.4似乎可能將選擇於10月28日當日發表。

而若從去年Google原訂Nexus 4公布時程為10月29日來看，今年若選擇在接近時間點發表新版Android、Nexus裝置，說法上似乎也有些合理。
