秘魯古墳 發現千年木乃伊

〔編譯張沛元／綜合24日外電報導〕考古學家24日表示，秘魯首都利馬市中心的一處考古遺址有重大發現，找到一座比印加文明更古老，估計有1000多年歷史的瓦里文明古墳，墳內有相當完整的兩具以儀式用布料包裹的木乃伊。

兩具木乃伊出土處是利馬的普加納考古區，分別是一名成年人與一名嬰孩，此外還有將近10件完整無缺的手工藝品。普加納考古家芙羅瑞斯表示，成年人可能是一名織布大師，至於嬰孩則可能被當成祭品遭殺害與埋入墓中。芙羅瑞斯還說，等解開包裹遺骸的布料，就能研判成年死者的年紀、社會地位與性別。

發現上述古墳的考古團隊隊長帕茲表示，由於這兩具木乃伊相當完整，此一發現是該考古區30多年來最重要的發現之一；若以重大發現排名而論，絕對可以排入前3名。考古團隊是在5天前首度發現古墳跡象，但花了不少時間才讓木乃伊出土。

比印加帝國早約500年的瓦里文明，在大約西元600年到1000年之際存在於包括現今利馬的區域，目前光是普加納考古區已有70座瓦里古墳出土。普加納考古區位於利馬市中心的一處住宅區。
