口中細菌如指紋 因人而異

美國研究人員說，從人嘴裡的細菌就能知道這個人的種族背景。

美國俄亥俄州立大學牙醫學院的研究人員「庫瑪」說，口腔深層細菌提供的生物資料可以看出人的種族背景。

庫瑪說，從牙齦下面，比較不受食物、菸草或是牙膏干擾的細菌可以判斷出一個人的族裔。

以往牙醫普遍認為，人類口腔裡的益菌大致相同。不過，他們的研究卻發現，只有百分之二相同。而他們分析益菌判斷出是否是非洲裔的準確度達百分之百，是否是白人、華人或是拉丁裔的準確度也超過六成。

庫瑪說，口中細菌不同，不但治療牙病的方式得不同，也得用不同的潔牙工具或是牙膏。
