日前收購三星硬碟機部門後，Seagate宣布將推出全球最薄2TB儲存解決方案，旗下新款2.5吋Spinpoint M9T正式出貨的消息，主要提供筆電、外接式產品或桌機等硬體使用。

Seagate宣布旗下收購三星硬碟機部門將推出2.5吋Spinpoint M9T新款硬碟，標榜為全球最薄2TB容量儲存解決方案，主要針對筆電、外接式裝置、桌機或遊戲系統使用。

Spinpoint M9T內建SATA 6Gb/s介面和微型致動器 (microactuation)，可確保快速且具一致性的硬碟效能，同時結合NoiseGuard與SilentSeek技術，將可實現超靜音運作。

目前Spinpoint M9T硬碟機已經開始供貨，同時透過特定合作夥伴供應。目前Spinpoint M9T正式納入三星可攜式產品線，產品包括M3 Portable和P3 Portable外接式硬碟機。
