（路透舊金山29日電）社群網站龍頭臉書臉部辨識功能引發侵犯隱私爭議，而今臉書考慮為大部分使用者的大頭照增加辨識功能，擴充自家公司臉部辨識資料庫。

臉書今天在更新版的資料使用政策提到這項可能的作法，以加強「標籤建議」功能。此功能利用臉部辨識技術，加速使用者替影中人「貼相片標籤」的過程。 這些技術現階段將新上傳照片中的面孔，與從前標籤過的面孔做比較，然後自動辨識相片內成員身分。臉書使用者被其他人標籤後，可選擇移除標籤。 美國政府電子監控計畫曝光後，臉書和其他網路企業隱私規範受到嚴密檢視。 臉書隱私政策負責人艾根（Erin Egan）表示，將使用者大頭照納入臉部辨識系統，可以讓系統更容易辨識照片中的人物，加強使用者個資管理。 艾根說：「我們的目標是加強標籤功能，這麼一來使用者照片一躍上臉書，他們就能馬上掌握。」中央社（翻譯）
