根據外電報導，微網誌服務推特(Twitter)已超越臉書(Facebook)，成為最受美國青少年青睞的社交網路，在派杰公司(Piper Jaffray)稍早的調查中，臉書還以33%的支持度領先推特的30%。

派杰公司近日調查發現，推特、臉書及Instagram最受喜愛，其中26%的青少年最愛推特，23%的青少年支持臉書和Instagram。另外，Tumblr和Google+各有4%和3%的玩家使用，和前三強的差距十分明顯。

研究業者PrivCo公司根據申報資料猜測，近來頗夯的推特可能在11月15日掛牌上市，且準備藉此募集10億美元資金。美國一家信託公司則評估，推特掛牌價可能介於每股28至30美元之間，還推測該公司的股價可能在一年內翻倍成長，建議投資人迅速買進。
