Windows 8.1正式開放下載，細節更新後整體操作便利許多。

微軟Windows 8(簡稱Win 8)小改款版本作業系統Windows 8.1(簡稱Win 8.1)於昨(17)晚正式免費開放下載更新，除開始鍵重新回歸外，智慧搜尋功能也更強大，實測輸入人氣球星林書豪英文名字「Jeremy Lin」，可秀出維基百科、影片及照片，網頁照片還可進階再以顏色進階搜尋，相當方便。

從微軟拋出8.1版本後，最受矚目的「開始鍵」正式回歸，此變革將可讓還沒接觸過Win 8的用戶操作更便利。可透過手勢將閱讀視窗拖曳成三分割畫面，比過往僅子母畫面可一次閱讀更多資訊，但僅支援螢幕解析度達Full HD以上。招牌的動態磚介面也從過往的中、寬2種尺寸，新增為小、中、寬、大共4種尺寸。

從螢幕叫出搜尋功能後，可輸入關鍵字串進行網路即時搜尋。輸入「Jeremy Lin」搜尋，可得到維基百科林書豪簡歷、新聞及圖片等。搜尋資料庫以美國為主，需全球知名人物才可，也可以顏色搜尋照片主要色系。

新增應用程式名稱、安裝日期、使用頻率等篩選分類項目，避免眼花撩亂的程式尋找不易。因3D印表機科技風潮，國航科技也在微軟市集中推出支援自家3D印表機APP免費程式，未來在微軟裝置即可隨插即用。
