在Computex 2013期間，Intel曾展示採超低電功耗Core i處理器的無風扇設計平板裝置，目前也具體透露此款處理器將歸類於採Haswell平台架構的Y系列產品，同時最低電功耗僅為4.5W (以SDP論)，最高電功耗則為6W，預計將會在今年下半年陸續供貨，並且用於「2合1」裝置。

根據Intel稍早透露消息，先前曾在Computex 2013期間展示搭載超低電功耗Core i處理器的無風扇設計平板裝置，其處理器便是採用Haswell平台架構的新款Y系列處理器，最低電功耗僅為4.5W (以SDP論)，最高電功耗則是6W，主要將對應於Intel、微軟共同提倡的「2合1」裝置。不過，若是期望處理器能發揮最好效能，基本上還是要搭配適當的散熱系統設計。

另外，Intel暫時未公布此系列處理器實際運作時脈、預計出貨時程或合作硬體廠商，僅表示最快將會在今年下半年間釋出。而先前HP已經透露最快將在年底前推出採用Haswell平台的無風扇設計平板裝置，估計將會採用此款處理器。
