研究：鄉下生活比城市危險

（路透芝加哥23日電）美國1份研究報告考量所有因傷致死形式發現，住在鄉村地區比住在城市更危險，這可能與許多人先前的想法恰恰相反。

儘管城市殺人案件大幅高於鄉村地區，不過生活在美國大部分鄉村地區因意外或傷勢死亡的整體風險，足足比生活在大城市高了20%。 賓夕法尼亞大學（University of Pennsylvania）和賓州兒童醫院小兒急診醫學專家邁爾斯（Sage Myers）博士說，這項發現可能讓想逃離大城市，享受鄉村田園生活的民眾有些遲疑。 這份研究報告發表於「急症醫學年鑒」（Annalsof Emergency Medicine）。 她說：「搬離城市愈遠，就愈不安全。即使只是搬到郊區，安全度也會稍微降低一些。」 邁爾斯說，人們想到個人安全時，通常傾向想到遭非意外傷害，如遭攻擊或射傷，但研究人員發現，美國農村地帶意外致死風險，比城市地帶高了40%。 邁爾斯說，研究報告顯示，意外傷害比非意外傷害更嚴重，而農村地區意外傷害發生機率更高。中央社（翻譯）
