在蘋果釋出iOS 7 beta 4測試版本後，其中資料內容似乎證實先前傳聞新款iPhone將內建指紋辨識器的說法。

根據9to5Mac網站引述開發者Hamza Sood於個人Twitter所透露消息，在稍早由蘋果所釋出iOS 7 beta 4相關SDK文件中，包含關於生物識別工具操作介面資料內容，同時在相關程式內容中也提到指紋識別操作相關敘述內容，似乎均證實新款iPhone將可能搭載指紋識別器的傳聞說法。

目前蘋果已經針對開發者釋出新一波iOS 7測試版本，預計在今年9月或10月間舉辦的新機發表活動正式宣佈開放更新，同時預期也將發表新款iPhone、iPod系列產品，以及傳聞中新款iPad與低價iPhone等產品，不過蘋果方面暫時未對即將公佈產品作任何回應。
