Sony宣布推出迷你電視機上盒PlayStation Vita TV，正式在機上盒市場向蘋果宣戰。這個裝置的機身尺寸僅6X10公分，採PS Vita掌上型遊戲機的硬體設計，可玩近1,300款PS Vita、PSP和PS遊戲。PS Vita TV也具備影音觀賞功能，可連接不少日本特有的影片服務，例如MM.com、Tsutaya TV和NicoNico動畫等。該裝置預定11月14日在日本推出，單機售價約95美元。搭配DualShock3控制器和8GB記憶卡的套裝版本，售價則約143美元。
