Ivy Bridge-E 處理器正式解禁，我們也會在近期提供完整的測試數據提供大家參考，而在 IDF 中，GIGABYTE 展出一張新的主機板。

22nm 製程的 Ivy Bridge-E 處理器搭配的是 Intel X79 晶片組，意味著過去 Sandy Bridge-E 所使用的主機板只要更新 BIOS 之後既能夠直接升級至 22nm 製程的處理器，不過 GIGABYTE 在舊金山舉行的 IDF 中展出了全新的 G1.Assassin 3 主機板。

Intel X79 晶片採用的是 LGA 2011 腳位，比較俱有特色的部分是 Quad Channel 記憶體以及 40 Lanes 的 PCIe 頻寬。

這回 GIGABYTE 的 G1.Assassin 3 除了提供 8 Dimm 記憶體插槽外，同時也導入 Creative Sound Core3D 音效晶片以及可更換 op amp 的設計。

當然，除了可更換 op amp、Creative Sound Core3D 以及 8 Dimm 記憶體插槽外，GIGABYTE 也更換了 VRM 設計。

全新的 VRM 採用的是 PowIRstage 的方案。

至於 I/O 部分，似乎沒有太多的變化以及差異。
