先前傳聞Google將在美國時間10月15日公布Android 4.4「KitKat」、Nexus 5等產品，但似乎因美國政府近期停擺，進而影響FCC等相關單位暫緩簽署核准Nexus 5、Google智慧型手錶等產品在美上市等流程，因此間接影響Google實際舉辦發表活動時間。

原本Google傳出將在美國時間10月15日公布Android 4.4「KitKat」、Nexus 5等產品，但目前似乎並沒有任何消息動態。根據Cnet網站整理相關說法表示，主要因素將可能與近期美國政府持續停擺運作有關，因此讓暫緩簽署核准Nexus 5、Google智慧型手錶等產品在美上市等流程，進而間接影響Google實際舉辦發表活動時間。

而目前也有另一波消息認為，Google預期將在10月底舉辦發表活動，但目前仍未有具體證實消息。

Nexus 5傳美金399元起跳

而針對即將發表的Nexus 5，日前已經有不少新機與預計搭載Android 4.4「KitKat」消息傳出，目前根據羅馬尼亞android geeks部落格網站所取得消息表示，Nexus 5 16GB版本售價將是美金399元，同時32GB版本則是美金449元。

另外，消息來源也指出Google將同時推出支援LTE機能的升級版Nexus 4，建議售價則將分別為美金249元 (16GB)與349元 (32GB)，但主要硬體規格基本上仍維持去年推行版本。
