在公布2013年第三季營收報告中，Intel證實原本預定年底前量產的14nm製程Broadwell平台處理器，將因生產因素延後至2014年第一季量產，估計將選擇於CES 2014期間公布細節。

根據Cnet網站報導指出，Intel執行長Brian Krzanich於2013年第三季營收報告中表示，原本預定年底前推出的14nm製程Broadwell平台處理器，將因生產因素延後至2014年第一季推出。同時Brian Krzanich強調，目前相關問題均已排除。

Intel早先在9月IDF 2013期間宣布將於年底前量產的14nm製程Broadwell平台處理器，主要針對加速Ultrabook、無風扇裝置與「2合1」裝置應用市場布局所設計，提供低耗電、長時間待機等應用。

而Intel未來也將於下一款Atom處理器「Airmont」導入14nm製程技術，但暫時尚未確認預計推出時間。
