在宏碁、三星、HP、聯想等廠商先後推出Chrome OS產品，目前LG也似乎有消息準備推出自家Chrome OS產品。在近期所申請商標專利中，LG先後註冊包含「ChromeOne」、「ChromeDesk」與「ChromeStation」相關名稱。

根據TMWatch網站引述相關消息，表示LG於近期內分別註冊「ChromeOne」、「ChromeDesk」與「ChromeStation」相關名稱專利，似乎暗示未來將推出Chrome OS產品，預計將在Android平台外與Google有更具體合作。

除了LG，Google先前分別與宏碁、三星、HP、聯想等廠商合作推出Chrome OS產品，同時也透過教育市場布局提昇Chrome OS平台市佔率，但就目前整體發展來看，市場使用率依然不算明顯。

目前LG方面並未有具體消息回應，而近期也傳出新款Nexus 5仍由LG負責代工，並且將在美國10月28日正式與Android 4.4一同揭曉。
