在經歷許久時間，並且與股東持續溝通後，目前Dell正式宣佈由創辦人Michael Dell、銀湖 (Silver Lake)投資公司完成私有化。

Dell公布新聞稿內容，宣布正式由創辦人Michael Dell、銀湖 (Silver Lake)投資公司以美金249億元完成私有化，未來股東將可獲得每股美金13.75元，以及美金0.13元股利。

而在恢復私有化之後，Dell未來在市場發展將具有更大自主性，而不再受限於多數股東、投資人所持意見。此次私有化交易中，包含全球總計11萬名員工，以及位於德州環石 (Round Rock)總部均不受影響。

在先前訪談中，Dell方面也強調日後發展將不受公司私有化影響，仍將朝向既定發展目標前進，並且同時維持於企業端與消費端提供各項應用產品。
