在有越來越多盒裝、實機外觀曝光，甚至香港通路也傳出將在11月1日開始銷售Nexus 5，同時售價將是3898港幣 (折合新台幣約為14780元)，Google方面目前仍然未有確定何時發表的消息。而另一方面，目前Nexus 5也在網路上曝光機身內部圖像。

根據FanaticFone網站取得內容，曝光一系列黑色款Nexus 5實機拆解影像，確定將採用4.95吋螢幕，同時內建電池也採不可拆換設計，具體容量則為2300mAh，並且由TECHNOHILL位於中國煙台工廠生產。而從電池製作顯示為9月27日，顯然實機僅在近期內進行組裝量產。

不過，FanaticFone網站並未進一步曝光細部拆解圖像，目前僅有背蓋底下的機身內部影像曝光，並未作相關說明。而從相觀圖像可以看見Nexus 5所採用鏡頭上仍覆有防刮膜，似乎顯示這些影像是在手機完成組裝前拍攝。
