日本亞洲索尼電腦娛樂（SCEJA） 今年九月於亞洲媒體發表會中宣布，次世代主機 PlayStation 4 將於 12 月在台上市，而新一代 PlayStation VITA 將會於 11 月在亞洲市場推出，如今如約的將於明天（11/5）在台亮相，現場還將首度展示最新 PS 4 遊戲與 PS Vita TV，至於詳細上市時間與消費關心的售價，我們也將在第一時間為讀者追蹤。

SONY PlayStation 4 的上市情報最初是由 SCE 在德國科隆電玩展中宣布，預計今年 11 月在北美、歐洲等地區上市。而今年九月則由 SCEJA 在東京電玩展前的記者會當中，宣布更詳細的上市時間，表示北美將於 11 月 15 日上市，歐洲會在 11 月 29 日上市，接下來台灣會搶先日本，在 12 月上市，至於日本會在明（2014）年 2 月 22 日上市。
