穿戴裝置夯 南韓推耳掛式

Google要以智慧眼鏡Google Glass抓住消費者眼球，三星電子為手腕打造Galaxy Gear智慧手表。南韓Iriver公司則尋求與身體另一個部位「耳朵」連結。

中央社報導，Iriver上月在美國推出一款搭配體積如同Tic-Tac薄荷糖的感應器的耳機，感應器把一道光照入使用者耳朵，追蹤使用者的心跳頻率、步行距離與速度，以及消耗掉的卡路里。另外，新創業者Looxcie公司則推出耳掛式相機。

英特爾及三星等企業早已注意到這塊市場，紛紛註冊相關專利，美國麻省理工學院（MIT）及日本慶應大學研究人員也在開發相關技術或產品。

隨著消費者尋求新方式將科技融入日常生活，以及Google和蘋果等大企業競相投入這塊市場，穿戴裝置蓄勢待發，根據IHS環球透視公司，2018年前市場規模將增加兩倍以上至300億美元左右。

Iriver美國公司副總裁歐文‧權表示，使用耳朵比眼睛及手腕更有優勢，特別是在健身和保健醫療的應用程式，理由是耳朵血管的生物辨識測量更為精確。Iriver、Looxcie及Valencell公司等新創業者，目前都在穿戴式電腦市場找尋新利基。
