三星智慧手表 GALAXY Gear 上市以來全球僅賣出 5 萬支

除了 Google Glass 之外，針對穿戴式裝置，發展健全的智慧手表似乎仍舊受到市場的考驗。根據國外媒體報導，三星於今年 IFA 發表的 GALAXY Gear 智慧手表，9 月份上市至今，賣出不到 5 萬支，可說遠低於同時間推出的 GALAXY Note 3 智慧型手機。

根據 BGR 引用南韓媒體報導指出，Samsung Galaxy Gear 從今年(2013) 9 月上市至 11 月 14 日為止，全球總銷量不到 5 萬支，日銷量更只有 800 台至 900 台，多位過外評測結果表示該項產品售價 300 美元太貴、續航力不足、功能太少等多項缺點，或許也是滯銷的原因。

不僅如此，先前 SlashGear 引用美國 BestBuy 的一份內部文件中顯示，Samsung Galaxy Gear 智慧型手表的退貨率高達 30%，顯示消費者對於該項產品的使用滿意度並不高。

根據近日三星針對該項產品的定位與行銷方式來看，Galaxy Gear 與即將推出的曲面螢幕智慧型手機 GALAXY Round 一樣，都是試水溫的產品。即使目前看來這款智慧手表不受市場所接受，似乎也不會停止三星與其他像是蘋果、微軟、谷歌等廠商繼續於明天推出智慧手表的腳步。
