加強與車廠關係 NVIDIA設立汽車科技中心

以底特律是過去式，矽谷是未來進行式形容汽車產業，NVIDIA 確定踏入一個全新的領域。

現在全球約有 400 萬台汽車，包含了 BMW、Rolls Royce、Telsa Motor、Bentley 和 Volkswagen 都有採用 NVIDIA 處理器的數位儀表板和資訊看板。

NVIDIA 稍早透過其官方 Blog 宣布，在密西根的 Ann Arbor 設立一個新的科技中心，而這個中心將專注在矽谷與 Motor City 的連接。

透過密西根科技中心的工程師以及管理者，NVIDIA 希望加強與汽車製造商和供應商之間的互動，並且使用大型的車庫空間來當作辦公室，就如同當年的 Microsoft 和 Google。

在這科技中心成立之前，其實有不少 NVIDIA 員工已經開始和汽車公司接觸。

這樣說起來，除了 PC 以外，未來在汽車上可能與 NVIDIA 脫離不了關係了。
