英仙座流星雨 下周一將來襲

（法新社巴黎9日電） 天文學家說，地球下週碰上英仙座流星雨，全球觀星迷屆時將看到一場壯觀的火球秀。

英仙座流星雨 12日來襲

這場年度流星雨將於12日與13日凌晨達到極大期，每個小時有60至100顆流星。

世界大部分地區都可以看到這個流星雨，但北半球看得最清楚，因為新月較早西沉，讓出黑漆漆的天空，上演這齣天空煙火秀。

美國國家航空暨太空總署（NASA）的流星研究負責人庫克（Bill Cooke）告訴記者，如果天空萬里無雲，最佳觀賞時間是12日與13日破曉前的數小時。

他透過電子郵件說：「走到戶外，花30至45分鐘，讓你的眼睛適應黑暗的環境，躺下來，眼睛直望天空，儘量把視野都放在天空。」

庫克說：「我的經驗是，觀賞流星卻感到失望的人，大部分都是只看數分鐘就希望看到流星。只有在流星大爆發時，才可能在數分鐘就看到，一般的流星雨需要更長時間。」

他說：「所以，你要有心理準備在戶外待上數小時；午夜之前，別期待能看到許多流星。」（譯者：中央社何世煌）
