Dell 私有化交易終於完成，現在他們即將是一家私人企業了。

在稍早與 Dell 股東的會議中，持股人同意接受 Michael Dell 和 Silver Lake 投資公司 249 億美元的方案。

Dell 私有化計劃起於 2013 年 2 月 5 日，至今已經超過 7 個月，主要原因是股東對 Michael Dell 提出的解決方案不甚滿意。

Michael Dell 於 1984 年成立 Dell，而在 1988 年 6 月上市，直到 2013 年宣布將進行私有化。

目前 Dell 股東將會獲得每股 13.75 美元以及 0.13 美元的股利，這將比原先 Michael Dell 團隊所預期的要高出許多。雖然如此，在 Dell 私有化之後，Michael Dell 將擁有更大的自主權，這將有助於讓讓他在動盪不安的 PC 產業中發揮更多的決策能力。

新聞稿指出，整筆交易將會在 2014 財政年度的第三季度完成，同時全球 110,000 名員工以及德州 Round Rock 總部將繼續保持。
