針對去年由CompactFlash聯盟所公布的CFast 2.0規格，SanDisk宣布推出全球首款採用此項規格的Extreme Pro記憶卡。另外，針對既有CompactFlash記憶卡用於4K影片拍攝需求，SanDisk也宣布推出新款Extreme Pro CompactFlash記憶卡，容量高達256GB。

根據SanDisk宣布，將推出採用CFast 2.0規格製作的全新Extreme Pro CFast 2.0記憶卡，提供高達450MB/s讀取速度，以及350MB/s寫入速度 (理論值)，並且對應承受大幅溫度變化、震動衝擊與無針腳位設計，使用者亦可透過卡上序號取得SanDisk客服支援。

目前Extreme Pro CFast 2.0僅有特定攝影機種支援，不過基本上仍可透過轉接卡用於其他器材。目前Extreme Pro CFast 2.0容量分別預計提供60GB、120GB，價格方面則尚未確認，但可能並不便宜。

另外，針對一般CompactFlash記憶卡用於拍攝4K影片需求，SanDisk也提供新款Extreme Pro CompactFlash 256GB規格，同樣支援UDMA7與160MB/s存取速度，但價格部分則為美金1809.99元。
