谷歌15歲 搜尋引擎推更新

（路透舊金山26日電）美國網路巨擘谷歌（Google）今天歡慶15歲生日，同時宣布搜尋引擎更新。

谷歌大幅改變搜尋引擎的演算法，以因應使用者更長串、更複雜的搜尋內容。 搜尋部門資深副總裁辛格霍（Amit Singhal）今天告訴記者，公司約在1個月前推出最新的「蜂鳥」（Hummingbird）演算法，目前這套演算法裨益全球90%使用谷歌搜尋引擎的網友。 辛格霍在部落格發文表示：「還記得1998年的網路搜尋是怎樣的情況嗎？你坐下來打開你那台笨重的電腦，用數據機撥號連線，鍵入一些關鍵字，然後會得到10個含有關鍵字的藍色連結。」 他說：「在那之後，世界變了很多：數十億人湧入網路世界，網頁呈指數成長，時至今日，你只需透過口袋裡那台強大的小裝置，就能搜尋任何問題。」中央社（翻譯）
