更輕、更小，同時擁有更多的續航力，GoPro HERO3+ 正式發表。

GoPro HERO3+ 擁有三種款式，分別是旗艦的 Black Edition、Silver Edition 以及一般的 White Edition，在售價方面，分別為 399、299 和 199 美元。

Black Edition 部分，這次提供了一個稱為 SuperView 的功能，它能自動將影片從 4:3 轉換為 16:9，因此使用者不需要再透過後置去完成。

此外，GoPro HERO3+ 擁有全新的自動低光源模式（low-light mode），主要是基於光源的條件下去變更影片的 FPS。

至於 HERO3+ Silver Edition 在硬體規格也作了些許變化，擁有比前一代更強大的處理能力，因此在 1080p 影片下，能夠到達 60 FPS，之前的版本僅有 30 FPS。

除了上述提到的部分以外，HERO3+ 也在影像銳利度、音效、Wi-Fi 等方面做了提升。

在 2012 年，GoPro 在全球賣出了超過 230 萬台運動攝影機，而我們也陸續見到 Sony、JVC，甚至是連導航器專家 Garmin 也踏入這塊市場。或許是有競爭才有所成長，不過在極限運動攝影這塊市場，似乎還是由 GoPro 取得領先的角色。
