Google 1 日推出新 Doodle 慶祝優勝美地國家公園 123 周年。

而這時機真的再糟也不過了，因為 1 日因美國國會參眾兩院對歐巴馬健保條款相持不下，導致預算無法通過而讓聯邦政府機構關閉，這其中就包括了優勝美地國家公園。

根據維基百科上的資料，優勝美地國家公園位於美國加州，佔地 3,080.74 平方公里，每年有超過 370 萬名遊客造訪，大多是為了優勝美地山谷而來。在1984年被指定為世界遺產，優勝美地國家公園以其壯觀的花崗岩懸崖、瀑布、清澈的溪流、巨杉和豐富的生物多樣性聞名於世。

目前在美國國會進入預算死結之後，美國所有聯邦府機構關閉，這表示這座全年無休的國家公園將會是自上一次 1996 年聯邦預算死結後，第一次關閉。20 年前國家公家對談協會表示關閉優勝美地公園會使馬里波薩縣（Mariposa County） 25% 的居民失業，除了優勝美地之外，這次的預算死結也將使得大部份的美國政府機構和科技研究停擺。
