加入 Wireless Power Consortium（WPC）後，Qualcomm 又將進入 Power Matters Alliance（PMA）。

身為 Alliance for Wireless Power（A4WP）的創始成員之一的 Qualcomm 在 9 月進入 WPC 擔任 “Steering Group” 擔任核心成員後，現在將會在另一個無線充電聯盟 PMA 中擔任 “senior leadership role” 的角色。

消息指出，Qualcomm 正在開發新的規範，就如同 Powermat 公司所使用的 PMA 設備，能夠在低頻感應和高頻共振中接收無線電力。

在加入 PMA 後，Qualcomm 這家晶片商正式成為無線充電聯盟中，唯一一家在三個聯盟擁有決定權利的成員。
