研究： 口腔細菌可分辨種族

每個人的指紋都是獨一無二的！除此之外，還有附著在口腔上的牙齦細菌也會因為種族的不同，附著的細菌也會有所不同。根據美國最新研究發現，這也解釋人為何有些人容易罹患某種疾病，且更重要的是單一的口腔護理方式並非每個人都適用。

根據英國《星期日報》報導，此前牙醫界認為每個人的口腔細菌應屬同一種，但近日透過研究卻發現，其實華裔、拉丁裔、白人、黑人等４個種族中，每種人的口腔細菌只有2成相同。

此外，俄亥俄州立大學的研究學者庫瑪(Purnima Kumar)表示，利用機器分辨1百個口腔樣本並推測樣本是何種人，其中成功率有6成以上。庫瑪指出，由於牙齦比較不受食物、菸草、牙膏的影響，因此可以判斷一個人的種族背景，但這也顯示，不同種人口腔內的細菌不同，不但治療牙病的方式也得不同，就連潔牙工具或是牙膏都不一樣。
