三星與蘋果的戰火預料將進一步升高，因為三星將搶在蘋果9月公布重大產品前，發表包括智慧手表在內的新裝置。
三星與蘋果的戰火預料將進一步升高，因為三星將搶在蘋果9月公布重大產品前，發表包括智慧手表在內的新裝置。

據Patently Apple網站報導，三星電子計劃在9月6日推出智慧手機Galaxy Note 3，新智慧手表也將同時登場，可能取名為「Gear」。這表示蘋果將落後三星，喪失最先推出智慧手表的科技大廠榮銜。

近日業界有關蘋果加緊研發iWatch的傳聞，使智慧手表再度成為焦點。如果蘋果加緊研發iWatch，三星勢必不甘落後。有關三星Galaxy Altius智慧手表的傳聞近來也繪聲繪影，近來又傳出正確名稱應該是「Gear」。

據三星在申請註冊該名稱的文件上說，將用於「能透過網站和其他電腦與電子通訊網路，收發資訊到個人數位助理、智慧手機、平板電腦和個人電腦的手表」。
