海豚會以「名字」呼喚同伴

英國聖安德魯斯大學發表最新研究論文指出，海豚會透過一種相當於名字的特定鳴叫聲來呼朋喚友，同伴也會針對呼喚做出回應。

這一發表在《美國國家科學院院刊》電子版上的研究報告指出，研究顯示，每隻海豚能發出不同於其他海豚的獨特鳴叫聲，而他們的同伴似乎就是透過模仿這一鳴叫聲來呼喚對方。當海豚被喚以陌生名字時，並不會作出反應。

這一研究小組是以生活在蘇格蘭海域的野生海豚為研究對象，錄下了它們鳴叫聲並播放。海豚在聽到自己的鳴叫聲後便以相同鳴叫聲回應。但當聽到陌生海豚的鳴聲時，它們則不會作出反應。

　　負責這一論文的主要研究員表示，這一發現首次證明了動物世界中存在「名字」類同的特定呼喚方式。
