因為沒有在中國上市計劃，Nexus 7 第二代在 2013 年的預估出貨量只有 350 萬台。

消息指出，由於 Google 在 2010 年起退出中國地區的決定，Nexus 7 第二代並未有在中國上市計劃，台灣地區則可望在 2013 年 9 月上市。

由 ASUS 代工設計的 Google 平板電腦 Nexus 7 第二代，因為確定不會在中國推出，2013 年預計出貨量為 350 萬台，至於 Nexus 7 第一代自 2012 年推出至今，總出貨量約為 600 萬台。

另一方面，ASUS 日前也在中國發出聲明，表示 Nexus 7 第二代在中國並沒有上市計劃，國際聯保服務不包含中國大陸地區，有需要者得付費才能進行維修。
