在近期釋出版號23的更新後，Mozilla也針對Firefox for Android版本釋出新一波beta測試版本，分別加入支援WebRTC、強化閱讀器與待讀清單功能，並且加入NFC、快速分享等功能，另外也在支援語系新增24種語言。而針對一般版本則加入瀏覽器主控台功能，方便確認錯誤。

根據Mozilla官方部落格表示，針對Firefox for Android版本釋出新一波的beta測試版本，主要導入先前已經在PC等平台瀏覽器支援的WebRTC功能，同時也針對閱讀器功能作強化，加入Serif、San-serif等字型切換使用功能，並且可針對閱讀環境自動切換成文字較按、背景較亮，或文字較亮、背景較暗的顯示模式。另外長按閱讀器圖示功能也能將閱讀文章加入離線閱讀清單，同時當閱讀器功能開啟時，也會透過橘色標示作明顯狀態標示。

而在手機本身NFC功能開啟時，新版Firefox for Android也能支援使用相關應用功能，並且可在瀏覽器內建立包含簡訊、電子郵件或透過社群網路服務的快速分享功能。在語系部分，新版Firefox for Android也加入包含加泰羅尼亞地區西班牙語、英式英語與瑞士等24種語言介面。

至於針對Firefox Beta for Windows、Mac或Linux平台，則是加入瀏覽器主控台 (Browser Console)功能，方便開發者針對瀏覽器使用流程細節作記錄存取，特別可讓外掛程式 (Plug-in)開發者能確認程式在什麼階段發生問題，同時新版瀏覽器主控台將取代既有錯誤主控台 (Error Console)。
