根據Patently Apple的消息，8月12日美國專利和商標局（USPTO）公佈了蘋果最新申請的「Live Listen」商標。「Live Listen」是一個新功能還是一款新App目前尚未得知，隨著新iPhone發布會日期接近，Patently Apple猜測這項新申請的商標可能和iTunes Radio音樂串流服務有關，並很可能會在發布會上和正式版iTunes Radio一同亮相。

「Live Listen」商標共有兩個國際商標分類：Class 009和Class 10，涵蓋了無線電發射器、Docking基座和助聽等項目。Class 009為電腦類，涵蓋了電腦、電腦外接設備、能夠提供網路連接、收發訊息以及其他數位數據的手持行動電子裝置、傳真、錄音和播放裝置等設備。Class 10 涵蓋的是助音器、輔助聽力相關等裝置。

之前，與蘋果關係密切的All Things D透露了蘋果秋季發布會時間定於9月10日（詳情）。消息發布之後，最先收到蘋果發布會邀請函的網站之一The Loop也對此給予了肯定。今天，又有一家重量級媒體確認了蘋果新品發布會的消息。彭博社在今日表示，蘋果的確計劃在9月10日舉行新品發布會，主角就是下一代iPhone（包括iPhone 5S和iPhone 5C）。除此之外，《彭博社》同樣對新一代iPad（包括iPad 5和iPad mini 2）的最新傳聞給予了肯定。
