樂天集團收購Viki 強化廣告、數位內容

樂天集團宣布，將收購全球視訊串流平台Viki，未來將以此強化旗下數位內容產品，同時也將旗下網路服務推向全新市場應用。

根據樂天集團宣布消息，證實將收購全球視訊串流平台Viki，未來將透過Viki可將黃金時段電視節目、電影、電視MV和其他優質視訊內容透過網路播放模式，以此強化旗下數位內容產品，同時也將旗下網路服務推向全新市場應用。

目前Viki平台透過群眾共同編輯模式，已經針對播放內容提供全球160種語言和超過4億個字幕翻譯，以此吸引更多觀看群眾，而樂天未來也將以此平台創造更多市場應用，同時吸引更多廣告流量所衍生商機。

此次收購Viki前，樂天集團在2012年間也已經收購電子閱讀服務Kobo公司，以及歐洲創新隨選視訊與串流服務Wuaki.tv，未來也將藉由收購Viki強化Wuaki.tv戰略互補，並且延伸樂天數位內容產品組合。
