蘋果iPad5 即將登場，美商微軟最近大挖蘋果牆角，微軟已發出媒體邀請函，9月23日擬發布二代Surface平板電腦。

除此之外，微軟還在美國推出「舊換新」方案，蘋果用戶持舊iPad平板換購微軟的Surface RT和Surface Pro平板電腦，至少可折價200美元（約新台幣6,000元） ，但目前活動範圍僅限於美、加地區，並不包含台灣。

微軟上周推出「換掉你的iPad」活動，鼓勵iPad用戶跳槽採用自家的Surface 產品，活動時間至10月27日為止，蘋果用戶持所擁有的iPad 2、3、4等舊平板，到美國及加拿大境內的微軟指定零售店，交換到至少200 美元的購物券，可以折價購買微軟的Surface RT和Surface Pro平板電腦。

微軟指定的汰舊換新機型為iPad2、iPad3或iPad4，產品必須八成新，希望藉此搭上「開學季」熱潮。
