日本亞洲索尼電腦娛樂（SCEJA） 稍早於亞洲媒體發表會中宣布，次世代主機 PS4 將於 12 月在台上市，而新一代PS VITA 將會於 11 月在亞洲市場推出，建議售價、銷售配套跟同步上市的遊戲版本將依照各市場而有所不同。

繼SCE 在德國科隆電玩展中宣布 Sony PS4 將於今年 11 月在北美、歐洲等地區上市後，稍早由 SCEJA 宣布更詳細的上市時間，表示北美將於 11 月 15 日上市，歐洲會在 11 月 29 日上市，接下來台灣會搶先日本，在 12 月上市，至於日本會在明（2014）年 2 月 22 日上市。

至於新一代 PlayStation Vita「PCH-2000」則預計 10 月 10 日在日本上市，其他亞洲地區會在 11 月推出，台灣詳細時間並未公佈。
