旗下擁有《暗黑破壞神Ⅲ》等遊戲大作的暴雪娛樂，將於台灣時間11/9、11/10於美國加州安那漢會議中心舉辦BlizzCon暴雪嘉年華，由於去年未舉辦，儘管今年門票漲至175美元，約5181元台幣，但逾2.6萬張門票仍在20分鐘售罄。而今年新消息也將是歷屆最多，傳《魔獸世界》將推新資料片、新鬥塔遊戲《Heroes of the Storm》也將亮相。
另外，《暗黑破壞神Ⅲ：奪魂之鐮》新資料片傳將登上家機版，會中也有望公開《魔獸世界》電影預告或片花。

外界盛傳《Heroes of the Storm》將是鬥塔類型遊戲，不過搶先架設的宣傳官網消息仍有限。

網路流傳《魔獸世界》6.0新資料片畫面，可能推出新種族和新職業。
