蘋果公司線上商店今天（11/12）上午就關閉相關服務，外界猜測跟 iPad mini with Retina Display 上市有關，果然稍早重新開啓時，確認於首波上市地區上架，亞州地區最近的可以從香港、中國跟日本購機。

iPad mini with Retina Display 迷人之處是與 iPad mini 相同的機身大小之下，改為配備 7.9 吋的 Retina 視網膜解析度螢幕，解析度達 2048 x 1536，並搭載與 iPhone 5s 相同的 A7 處理器和 M7 協同處理器，電池續航力達10個小時，支援 LTE，採用 500 萬畫素的 iSlght 鏡頭，共有黑、白兩款。

目前 iPad mini with Retina Display 上架的有黑、白兩款，並在美國、中國、香港、日本等地上市，共有 16GB、32GB、64GB跟128GB四種選擇，每種選擇都有 WiFi 跟 Wi‑Fi + Cellular 兩種上市規格。

在售價方面，以 WiFi 版本來看，在美國 Apple Store 上，Retina iPad mini 16GB Wi-Fi 售價為 399 美元，折合新台幣約 12,000 元。中國 Apple Store 也同步上架，16GB Wi-Fi 售價為 2,888 人民幣，折合新台幣約 14,000 元。香港 Apple Store 方面，16GB WiFi 售價為 3,088 港幣，折合新台幣約為 12,000 元，和美國相近。至於日本 Apple Store 方面，16GB Wi-Fi 售價為 41,900 日元，折合新台幣約 12,500 元。
