在先前宣布收購Waze後，目前Google也宣布將借重Waze旗下交通流量即時回報技術，讓Google Maps服務也能透過Waze App即時統計數據顯示在地交通情況。

根據Google官方公布消息，新版Google Maps for Mobile將可借重透過Waze App即時統計數據，直接在地圖上顯示在地交通流量情況。目前此項更新將針對包含美國、英國、阿根廷、巴西、智利、哥倫比亞、厄瓜多、法國、德國、墨西哥、巴拿馬、祕魯與瑞士等地釋出。

至於針對Waze現行針對Android與iOS平台所推出App，其中將加入Google Search技術，未來使用者將可透過Google搜尋技術更快找出更精準內容，例如在地商家或地址：此外，在Waze Map Editor介面中也將整合Google Maps街景、衛星圖像，將能謝著使用者更加正確加註資料內容。
