也許是坊間已經有不少實機影像提前曝光，因此Sony Mobile也索性在預告影片中放出近乎完整的「Honami」Xperia Z1機身外觀，同時以「The best of Sony is about to get even better」形容此款新機。

根據Sony Mobile透過YouTube所釋出預告影片，其中幾乎完整揭露「Honami」Xperia Z1實際機身外觀，以及包含搭載Sony G鏡功能、獨立相機快門鍵與全機防水等特性，並且以「The best of Sony is about to get even better (最好的Sony就是變得更好)」作為形容。

就先前市場傳聞來看，「Honami」Xperia Z1幾乎融合Xperia Z與Xperia Z Ultra兩者主要優勢，包含目前主流高階智慧型手機採用的5吋1080P螢幕、Sony目前引以為傲的Triluminos面板技術、等同Xperia Z的Omni Balance機身設計與Xperia Z Ultra全機防水設計，並且搭載Qualcomm最高階的snapdragon處理器等。

至於實際規格，還是要等到Sony於德國IFA 2013期間正式發表為主。
