在IFA 2013準備開展之際，三星官方也證實將公布新款旗艦機Galaxy Note III，以及已經有不少傳聞的智慧穿戴裝置Galaxy Gear。另一方面，Galaxy Note III也曝光具體前端面板零件，確定將採用窄邊框設計。

官方證實 Galaxy Gear將不採用可撓式顯示螢幕

根據《The Korea Times》新聞網站引述三星行動事業部執行副總Lee Young-hee說法，表示三星確實將於德國IFA 2013期間公布新款旗艦機Galaxy Note III，以及有諸多傳聞的三星智慧型穿戴裝置Galaxy Gear。

就報導內容表示，Galaxy Gear將不會如市場傳聞採用可撓式顯示螢幕，因此可能接近Sony Mobile所推行的Smart Watch系列產品。除此之外，Lee Young-hee表示Galaxy Gear仍是概念式設計產品，因此也還不確定是否將會在今年內推出市場。

不過，Lee Young-hee仍透露三星確實著手研發採可撓式顯示螢幕的穿戴裝置，同時先前申請註冊專利都是針對未來概念產品所準備。就Lee Young-hee的說法，穿戴裝置將是三星之後看重市場，並且將能用於整合行動手持裝置應用。

Galaxy Note III零件再曝 螢幕採窄邊框設計

至於新款旗艦機Galaxy Note III部分，Lee Young-hee也證實確實將於IFA 2013公布，但並未具體透露實際規格細節。而根據義大利網站HDBlog所透露消息，則是具體

呈現疑似Galaxy Note III採用前端面板零件，並且將以窄邊框設計為主。

而先前說法，還包含Galaxy Note III將不會搭載光學防手震拍攝功能，但將配置高達4K畫質的影片錄製效果，但目前都還無法具體獲得證實。

另外，針對先前市場傳聞三星將收購BlackBerry的說法，Lee Young-hee澄清目前並沒有此部份打算。
