Google 於 28 日釋出 Chromecast app for iOS，讓 iOS 使用者也可以設定 Chromecast。

Chromecast 不只可以在 Android 或是電腦平台上使用， Google 28 日釋出了 Chromecast app for iOS，讓使用者也可以從自己的 iPhone 或是 iPad 設定 Chromecast 並從支援軟體串流影片到電視上。

Chromecast app for iOS 的功能其實不多，只是讓使用者可以辨別 Chromecast 裝置、更改裝置名稱和密碼等。不過 Chromecast app for iOS 可以一次讓你管理多支 Chromecast，集中管理家中所有的 Google 雲端串流裝置。

目前在 iOS 上支援 Chromecast 的 App 僅有 YouTube、Netflix 和 Chrome 瀏覽器，未來可能會有更多程式支援。不過如果想串流 iTunes Store 中的音樂和影片，你還是需要一台 Apple TV。
