冷卻背心 助消防員救火降溫

〔自由時報記者王俊忠／台南報導〕消防局長李明峰與同仁集思廣益，設計出全國首創供消防員搶救火場時穿著的「冷卻背心」，特製背心前後五個口袋，可放五塊重複使用的冷卻劑，避免火場溫度過高，身體產生熱衰竭，首批將有善心人士捐八百件發給台南第一線消防人員。

昨天，市長賴清德肯定此冷卻背心對消防員個人保護外，也以「醫生」身分提醒消防員如穿了這件背心進火場，務必加強訓練、提高警覺，「千萬勿因身體降溫，忽略火場環境的變化」。

消防局搶救科長謝榮仁表示，在火場動輒五、六百度的酷熱環境下，救災人員體溫上升，身體會增加排汗與呼吸次數來散熱降溫，但如環境溫度過高，來不及降溫，就會有生命危險。

一位警消說，平日穿上全套防護衣，還沒進火場，站著不到五分鐘就開始冒汗；穿上冷卻背心後，確可降溫、舒適許多，此外，高溫會讓消防員大量耗氧，穿上背心也能減緩氧氣瓶的使用速度。
